There's several cheap bus options from NYC to Philly, costing
$8-$12. I've taken them all and they're fine but not
luxurious. They typically have free (unsecured) Wi-Fi.
Sometimes you can get a round-trip for $12 if you buy a few days in
advance. Here's a website that aggregates all of them for you:

The buses depart from NYC's Chinatown and arrive next to Philly's
Jefferson Station (formerly Market East.) From there you can take
SEPTA's Manayunk-Norristown Line to the Norristown Transportation
Center which is a 15-min ride from the hotel via Uber, Lyft, or
taxicab. The train fare is $7.00. At Jefferson Station, tell the
train conductor that you're deboarding at the Norristown
Transportation
Center.

From the Norristown Transportation Center you can take Uber or Lyft
for about $15 (or a taxicab for a bit more) to the hotel. (Or if you
have a friend at the hotel with a car, they might be willing to make
the short trip to pick you up ;-)
