Thanks John for this nugget! I saw their swank studios last in the NYC office tower (old city hall?) with the golden statue on top. I used to work for NYCTV two floors above which looked down on the new City Hall. Michael Bloomberg was the mayor then. WNYC also shared transmitters with WNYE radio located atop the Empire State Building, sometimes fed by an FM LPT in Brooklyn.
Alas, WYNE has been defunct for a while, with their old TV studios in Brooklyn, not far from the iconic bridge. The haunted building was torn down and a high rise in its place, with condos I believe :( Brings back memories, mostly good, some bad. Mostly Receiving > On May 23, 2020, at 11:31, John A.
