OK, we Canadians are ready, once again, to take all the flack for any bad
weather experienced over Fest weekend. We're used to it by now. To test fate
a little more this year, we're bringing a Western Canada import along with us.
CIDX Vice President Mickey Delmage from Edmonton, Alberta will be coming with
us this year, making his first trip to Winterfest.
As is so often the case with Winterfest weather, it isn't usually what's
happening in Lansdale that's the problem. In our case coming down from
Montreal, all the worst weather we have experienced has been between Albany,
New York and then west along I-84 heading towards Scranton-Wilkes-Barre region.
Just ask the guys from western New York, Ohio, etc. about their travel
experiences over the years getting to the Fest.
It pays to check out weather forecasts well beyond the Lansdale area in the
days leading up to the event.
