Well, the year my husband went to the Fest, I was able to cajole him to go to one forum, which was the Pirate year-in-review. This was all a new experience to him, and when we got home, that is all I heard about for *weeks*! Something that is "routine" to us Festers, and the joy and wonder of bringing a new person into the fold is priceless!

She will never forget or forgive me for leaving her in the hospitality room for 45 minutes with various festers in different stages of inebriation. I said "some do"....she said "How come you never ask me to go?"....well, honey I thought you would be bored.... so that year (maybe 2003...could have been 2002) I took her to the LIMARC Christmas party.... she's never asked to go to another one since! It's good to have separate interests from time to time just to clear your head. However, I am actually looking forward to when the little guy (who is only 5 months old) is old enough to go with me to NASCAR races and if he wants...to come with my to the Dayton Hamvention....fine.
