Hello, I forgot to mention that I will be bringing an Elad 10.7 MHz to 12 KHz converter with me so any radios with 10.7 MHz output could also be used for DRM. I use it with my AOR 5000 for DRM reception and it does way better than the "No-Mod" Mod for the AOR 5000. I wanted to setup a DRM transmitter and be the first(?) North American DRM pirate with Radio Kulpsville International on 174 or so KHz. I ordered the parts but likely have no time to build it completely. It would be great for the DRM demo. The heart of the transmitter is the USRP, a software-defined radio that works with GNUradio. The idea is to send a 12 KHz DRM output to a computer running GNURadio which converts it to the final frequency and sends it out the LFTX board on the USRP. The Hardware http://www.ettus.com/ The Software http://www.gnu.org/software/gnuradio/ I have done something similar on the receive side for DRM with a 10.7 MHz IF going to the LFRX board on the USRP and coming out the line out of the computer as 12 KHz IF. Besides the converter I also wrote a FM SCA Decoder that is now included in the GNURadio Samples. There is also an interesting FM RDS (RDBS) decoder as well. I am still bringing the USRP as a digital radio as I am sure some people at the fest will be interesting in seeing it in action. Plus I want to see what SCA is like in Philly. 73 Eric _______________________________________________ Swlfest mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/swlfest To unsubscribe: Send an E-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED], or visit the URL shown above.
