Any suggestions for Chad? So far no one in the NASWA group has

Hello all,

I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Chad Briesacher,
and
I joined NASWA this past fall. I started listening to shortwave in
2007 while running a Boy Scout summer camp. I have worked my way
through a few radios since then. From my Mini 300PE to my E1XM I
have
been having a lot of fun with the hobby. My monthly NASWA Journal
has
only enhanced this.

Now to where your help can come in. I am a broadcaster. I work at
a
Class C AM station. The new owner of the station has given me a
task
because radio is my hobby.

The station has a rather large collection of radio tubes. He has
tasked me with trying to make a profit off the tubes. They range
from
very large tubes for an old transmitter to much smaller models.

I really don't want to spend a lot of time selling each individual
one
on e-bay. Also I have no way to test them. I need to know if there
is a place to sell these. Also a little help with the value would
be
appreciated.

When I look at prices across the internet (including e-bay) I just
get
more confused. I don't want to get ripped off and look bad in front
of the boss.

Please help.

-Chad

Really? No one?

I'm not trying to sell anything to you. I'm just a 23 year old who
knows nothing of radio tubes. There has to be someone out there who
can help.

I need to uses the lifetimes of knowledge (not that anyone here is
old) I know is out there.

Please help a fellow member.

Thanks again,

-Chad
