Hi Hardy, There's not a validation service as such, but there is the Simple Sword Server: https://github.com/swordapp/Simple-Sword-Server
This is both a python server-side library and out-of-the box test repository and reference implementation. You can throw stuff at it, and it will be as spec compliant as possible when dealing with the requests, provides some validation, and also stores stuff you send it in a directory that you can look at to make sure it has done what you expected it to do.
