Last monday, I wrote to SBT, explaining about the Sword Project (SP) and trying to commote them about the necessity of a portuguese bible text available at SP. I have no answer, for a while. I'll keep trying. Let me ask: Do you think that we should work in the portuguese texts we have permission to do? Leandro said we only can package "Almeida Revista e Corrigida (1911)" e "Versão Brasileira (1917)". Those are very, very old texts. Portuguese has changed a lot since their publishing. The orthography is old. I think this great effort would result in an unusable sword module. Maybe we should wait for permission to work on a more modern portuguese text. Another question: have, any of you, already used Clara OCR? I've installed and made some tests, but the results we're not very good. Maybe I haven't learnt how to use it very well. Is there another free (and good) OCR software? third question, already made by Leandro: Do any of you has the tiffs of "Almeida Revista e Corrigida 1911" or of "Versão Brasileira"? The first should be at http://faithofgod.net/Portuguese/1911/index.htm , but the links seem broken. I only found Almeida 1819 (Jesus! Is it portuguese, or latin?).
