First comment is that Steve DeRose is confusing paraphrase with idiomatic translation; eg his classification of the Easy Reading Version and of the New Century Version both of which he labels as paraphrases but that are definite translations --- just not done following his favoured philosophy. Clear from his taxonomy that he prefers metaphrase translation. Second comment is that his abbreviations are different from those used by the Bible translation community and publishers.
