Whatever the outcome, please remember that CrossWire does not wish to be the authoritative online source for a Biblical text, so we should strive to make use of the "controlled document" owned by the translators or publishers as the properly maintained source.
Text development (e.g. adding features, correcting typos, etc.) should always be done by those who own the work. Of course, there is room for CrossWire volunteers to help in this task, but the procedure should be that such text development be done as a two way process referring back to the copyright holders, such that they retain ownership of such outputs. Then we can always keep a clear distinction between text development on the one hand and publishing and distributing as a SWORD module on the other hand. Conversion of an original file format is part of the CrossWire publishing step.
