I think building a nice app in symfony to manage job postings would be a benefit. I resigned from my job the other day and my former coworkers were on craigslist were able to find someone locally with symfony experience, so the developers are out there, but its generally more difficult to find them.
But I also think we can do some interesting stuff, as someone who has to hire people on occasion, I really want to know more about them than I can find on a wiki page. Obviously we could expand on the wiki for now, but it'd be nice to have some sort of feedback system where we could know if others endorse a developer or have worked with them or not. Perhaps what projects they've worked on, etc. I think the ecosystem will grow to fit a tool like that. I'm doing my part to convince everyone and their mother to use symfony so it should grow out :) I'd be happy to lead this up and work on this with some folks?
