A decent plugin would do more than just stick a script tag at the
bottom of the page. Anyone who has looked in-depth into Google
Analytics and any of the other more advanced stats services will know
there is a HECK of a lot more that you can do with these than just
sticking the script tag at the bottom. A plugin that took care of the
advanced side of these stats services would be great.

One for the ToDo list I think.
