I agree, but the Askeet tutorial could be re-written for 1.1 We could have both 
1.0 and a 1.1 version.
It's just a question of time now and doing a good document takes a lot of 
time...

The main reason that so many people started with symfony is because
there was a lot of good documentation and a splendid application
(Askeet) to learn from.
Now we have a updated framework with some very nice features, but the
lack of documentation and wrong documentation will probably frighten
the beginner. He will walk away from it, and try a different
framework.

I am afraid that problems like this will hurt the reputation of the
symfony framework.
