+1 for upgrading askeet and using symfony 1.1 forms instead of crud
generator for my first tutorial.

I think that for people that know the framework well, it is easy to see the
simplicity and elegance of the design, but when writing/updating docs for
new users we should try to minimize the learning curve and help users
understand the idea behind the design.

I agree 1.1 is a transition and we should encourage people to use the new
functionality, and deprecate features that do not encourage the overall
design rapidly (while maintaining major stable version for long periods of
time).

For askeet, can you branch for 1.0/1.1/dev + setup docs for 1.0/1.1/dev?
Also, can I get commit access to svn and can we make the trac public again
and compile a list of topics to update?
