We have a modified version of sfPHPUnit that we use in my company, we should release it for symfony 1.1 / 1.2 / 1.0 soon should be ready before symfony 1.2 relase :)
But if PHPUnit could get citizenship or replace lime in future that would be the best thing that could happen to symfony testing. :) We had a talk here last month we couldn't figure out why symfony went with their own test framework instead of integrating phpunit(maybe fabian of someone from sensio could hint me about on that) since phpunit is at least 20x more powerful with all the extension available. Another thing i would like to see as symfony core in future is FIT (http://fit.c2.com) test!!
