I am very much against this. This adds to the core and it will no longer be 
small / clean. Also it makes dependencies into core. What about Propel (Or 
any other ODM/ORM/ActiveRecord implementation out there.)? When they start 
to use Symfony2 should there helper classes also be included into core?

This is the same problem and question there is with having DBAL dependencies 
in the Security Component.
