I wrote that article, but was wayyy slow in delivering something for the community to use. I got something up eventually, there's a blog entry about it (and download link!) at: http://notjosh.com/blog/archives/37-sfPropel13-Plugin.html It should do the job, albeit kinda dodgy for now. If you hit snags, let me know. If it's useful to you, then let me know, too.
