Well if youre ok with using apache 1.3.33 (which is what ive done thus far)
Then thats already in stalled. If you want to upgrade the system bundled
apache you can do so but ive never tried it... On my box at work i do have
custom build of apache2 running alongside the system build but i built that
from source myself. Server logistics does offer a package though that can be
found here: http://serverlogistics.com/apache2.php
I dont know if this installs alongside or if it replaces 1.3.33 since i
havent used it. There is a preferences pane so that means you can start and
stop it from System Preferences.

For PHP5 Marc Lyinage has a prebuilt binary in an OS X installer package
that will take care of all the installation and initial configuration. Note
that there are packages offered for both Apache2 and Apache 1.3. Make sure
the one you use matches the version of apache youre going to use... But all
that is detailed on the download/instructions page:
http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/

MySQL is available directly from MySQL. They have also made a preference
pane so you can start and stop the server from System Preferences. You can
find the package on their website:
http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.0.html
