If you need stable API than yes. But wait! There is a symfony 1.4 with
3 years long term support ;)

Michal
I knew, but it was the only way I was able to ask the answer without
getting "Go symfony 1.4". However, I got it XD
The problem was Symfony2 vs CakePHP. If Symfony2 isn't ready, then we
will use CakePHP. In fact, we really wanted use Symfony2. So I chose
putting you in front of a dilemna : whether you keeped us on Symfony2,
whether you lost us to CakePHP. So I saw there was really no other way
of getting out than CakePHP, due to Symfony2 unstability. I would love
using it, but it is not ready. When it will be, then we will maybe
switch to Symfony2.
In your example, it would more be Windows 8. And Bill Gates would say
Leopard OS only if Windows 8 was really not ready. I saw Symfony2 was
really not ready. So I will choose Leopard OS, hoping that Windows 8
will be ready for my next computer. (Note that it is not guaranteed to
be a real situation !)
Thank you,
Ekinox
