The cache files are indeed being correctly generated, so the problem must
not be with the plugin at all,  but rather with how I'm using the slot.

As a temporary solution, I have updated editSuccess.php as well as
indexSuccess and new Success so that list.title handling is identical to
that of the Doctrine equivalents.

I'll post here once I've identified the root problem.
