I would like to derive my ImplicitFunction class from your Function class, but the question is how do I instantciate function in my class since it needs to be of the form Function.__init__(self,?????)? With regard to naming of derivatives I am going to translate your naming convention in to something more readable from both the viewpoint of a simple ASCII string and a LaTeX string.
