New issue 1241 by [email protected]: Add LaTeX printer support for outputting (<x>)^(a/b) as an inline fraction http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=1241 It would be nice (as an option) to be able to instruct the LaTeX printer to output expressions of type (expr)**(a/b) where a and b are integers as \left(expr\right)^{a/b}. Currently it is outputted as \left(expr\right)^{\frac{a}{b}). This takes up more space (or forces LaTeX to use a smaller font size). In the special case where the power is an integer fraction a/b is somewhat nicer. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
