In simplify/simplify.py, line 772, the patterns that are checked for are listed. Right now there is only one for changing sin/cos to tan. You could probably add patterns of the same type (with a power 'c') to take care of the cases you mentioned as well as the cases of tan/sin and cot/cos, too.
