When trying to bisect for issue 1783, I noticed that quite a few commits in
the tree do not build
correctly. This was always because setup.py was not updated whenever a new
file was added or
something until some time later.
So I think we should add a test that runs ./setup.py build to the test
runner. It only takes about 17
seconds on my machine.
