Comment #1 on issue 1411 by ellisonbg: Make fancy latex printing work
within the Sage notebook
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=1411
I have talked more about this with Ondrej and come up with the following
plan:
Currently the printmethod attribute of the SymPy Printer classes have the
format:
printmethod = '_latex_' (leading and trailing underscore).
To avoid conflicting with Sage method naming (they use the _foo_
convention), we need to:
1. Rename all of the printmethod names to use a single leading underscore:
printmethod = '_latex'
2. Find all the classes in SymPy that declare a method with the old name
and change it to the new convention:
def _latex_(...) => def _latex(...)
