Commits 966 and 1984 in branch t of github/smichr are ready for review.
Aaron has already given some review comments that have been addressed and
those changes have been put into a t_wip branch with commit number's the
same as the original. After I finish the first round of review I will make
a new branch (t2) and further comments cn be made. Perhaps I will try this
on smartbear.
