Comment #10 on issue 2205 by [email protected]: "Undefined functions"

We still need to find a good name for these objects...
Abstract function
Abstract analytical function, if derivatives exists.
If I understand the target aims for this.
By the way:
Unfortunately issue tracker is not convenient to keep all strategic aims of
issues in the mind. And I don't even know whether it is related with issue
1688 or not.
But I remember that you have started the wiki page about series expansion,
where current situation was good described.
I think that core development (and especially altering of it) is
significant, and therefore should be upon concept and carring out as
surgical operation.
Roughly speaking, I should like to clear for myself:
- what is necessity of this object (what problems it solve, what problems
are not solvable without it, what problems this object simplified). In
current situation or on the whole.
- what are topics it is related with (series, distinguish with expression ),
- what are issues it is related now with
(it may be related even with issue 1381)
- what problems must be solved for this object's implementation, or how
object's implementation can be separated or splits (partial derivatives,
_print _latex and so on)
- specificity of core and issues about it.
and so on.
I would be thankful, if document about it will be created (I will help).
Then we can obtain concept. Further we can refer to this page in
discussions, more over, the discussion will raise the other questions, and
I hope will be more substantially then this my notes.
Thanks.
