Comment #7 on issue 3179 by [email protected]: integrate() gives wrong answer for definite integrals of rational trigonometric functions
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=3179

Sure it can, but it will be more useful when it's more specific. E.g. if I calculate integrate(x*2,(x,0,10)), I'm sure that sympy gives me correct answer. I believe the same is true for integrate(sin(x),(x,0,pi)), and other regular functions whose integration does not require any singular variable substitution. But I don't know for sure how sympy will calculate more complex integrals. At least, sympy knows it better, and can warn me when appropriate.

However, it seems to be a topic for the discussion with more broad scope.
