The expression in comment 10 still does not expand completely with the
recent expand changes:
n = -1 + 1/x
z=n/x/(-n)**2-1/n/x
z.expand()
-1/(x - 2 + 1/x) - 1/(-x + 1) + 1/(x*(x - 2 + 1/x))
pprint(_)
1 1 1
- --------- - ------ + -------------
1 -x + 1 / 1\
x - 2 + - x*|x - 2 + -|
x \ x/
