Also, it would be great if doctest in general was able to test functions
that require optional dependencies, i.e., automatically skip them if the
dependency is not installed. There will need to be a list of what requires
what in the doctest file, or, alternatively, some way to decorate doctests
to indicate that they require a certain dependency. In general, the fewer
SKIPed doctests we have, the better.
