Comment #6 on issue 3479 by [email protected]: KroneckerDelta should canonicalize
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=3479

My Bad, I didn't treat them as symbols. But then I also tried to test basic trigonometric equalities and got something interesting --

x=Symbol("x")
y=Symbol("y")
KroneckerDelta(x,y) == KroneckerDelta(y,x)
False
tan(x)==(1/cot(x))
False

x=Rational(1,2)
y=Rational(1,2)
KroneckerDelta(x,y) == KroneckerDelta(y,x)
True
tan(x)==(1/cot(x))
False

x=Integer(2)
y=Integer(2)
KroneckerDelta(x,y) == KroneckerDelta(y,x)
True
tan(x)==(1/cot(x))
False

x=Float(2)
y=Float(2)
KroneckerDelta(x,y) == KroneckerDelta(y,x)
True
tan(x)==(1/cot(x))
True

I will start working on this when my midterm gets over on Monday.
