Comment #9 on issue 1015 by [email protected]:
limit((1+x/(n+sin(n)))**n,n,oo) doesn't work
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=1015
The incorrect output in both (7) and (8) occur because of the default
integer division in Python 2. This causes the expression in the denominator
to be incorrectly evaluated, leading to the incorrect limit.
Using 'from __future__ import division' solves the (7) problem completely,
returning the correct value of exp(0.5*x), while for (8) it returns the
following error:
'PoleError: Don't know how to calculate the limit(1/(x*(sin(1/x) + 1/x)),
x, 0, dir=+), sorry.'
