something like this would put it into form
factor(_)
-(-1 + tanh(1))*(x - 1)*(tanh(1) + 1)
i,d=_.as_independent(x)
from sympy.core.mul import _keep_coeff
_keep_coeff(i.expand(),d) # in case i is a Number
(x - 1)*(-tanh(1)**2 + 1)
