I'll be happy to work on this once I have more time, but if anyone else
picks up the thread before me:
It would be nice if the option could accept a simple boolean switch, or a
dictionary to replace the `modifier_dict` variable in the two printers that
use it (latex and pretty). This would allow more fine-grained adjustments,
and the addition of any new modifiers the user would like.
