Comment #2 on issue 4023 by [email protected]: solve provides the error: sympy.polys.polyerrors.PolynomialError: only univariate polynomials are allowed
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=4023

Hi eveyone,
sorry I'm currently really busy at work therefore I'm giung ahaed with the version 0.7.1. Some carification of the polynom I solve and doesen't work from version 0.7.2:

p2 = np.array(sym.solve(fit_c2[8]+E*eps_yieldplast+(fit_c2[7]-E)*y+fit_c2[6]*y**2+fit_c2[5]*y**3+fit_c2[4]*y**4+fit_c2[3]*y**5+fit_c2[2]*y**6+fit_c2[1]*y**7+fit_c2[0]*y**8,y))

where:

fit_c2=[ -4.14561766e+15   4.34873478e+14  -1.87201760e+13   4.23018076e+11
  -5.21408912e+09   3.04195167e+07  -1.11087849e+05   4.58754259e+03
  -9.90439797e-02]

E=4392.7806908

eps_yieldplast=0.002

These are the data which provide the error from version 0.7.2 onwards.

Ciao

Luca
