The _poly versions do not support symbolic degree. They just explicitly
create the polynomial.
Ideally, the non-poly versions would never auto-evaluate, at least for
explicit n (maybe they could for explicit x).
I would be happy to contribute in any way I can, although my Python
development acumen is pretty weak compared to anyone else here.
Don't worry. Everyone starts somewhere.We'll be happy to help you out. I
would start by removing the auto-evaluation of numeric n.
