Feel free to ask any Python questions here. We are also at #sympy at
freenode at IRC, if you want to talk live. Even though I am not there
all the time, but if you know that will reserve a weekend to work on
this, we can figure out so that someone is around to help you.

Spending time to learn mercurial or git is well spent, I am sure you
won't regret, you can use it for any project then.
