We have pretty printing and latex output because we need ways to more clearly see the information that we generate. The TableForm seems to be an addition in this spirit. In the input/process/output scheme, it is part of the output.
One thing you could ask is if you installed python and sympy on a new machine without your own tools for manipulating data, would you be wishing for the TableForm or not? The ability to clearly communicate data to the user from within sympy seems like it would be a good idea. I lean toward +1. The OEIS was removed (by me on the basis of Aaron's +1) before I even got to see how it worked.
