Hi, I'm interested in applying for GSOC this year and i'm really interested in learning Python, I just had a few general questions.
I haven't been able to apply as of yet and i'm just wondering if its too late to do so? I have minimal to no programming experience with Python but I have extensive knowledge of mathematics and mechanics, what sort of projects would you recommend for me? Here is a little bit of my background information for you to get an idea of what skills I could offer: Finishing 3rd year Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering Code as a hobby, delved into web development. Programming: - Matlab (Advanced) - Mathematica (Advanced) - C++ (Experienced) - PHP & MySQL (Experienced) - HTML & CSS (Experienced) Any insight or advice would be appreciated. -Thomas -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sympy" group.
