I think it would just be more confusing to put those in the library code; It's easy enough for users to define the 4x4 matrices they want to use in their own code. More interesting, to me anyway, would be to be able to work with the Dirac algebra (having objects that obey the commutation relations) without describing explicitly which matrix form you choose for these objects.
