Aaron,

I installed sympy from the git repository.

The same call

    poly(1/(x+y), z, domain="EX")

now generates a:

sympy.polys.polyerrors.GeneratorsError: you have to provide generators
because EX domain was requested

But

    Poly(1/(x+y), z, domain="EX")

works fine (it's probably what I should have done from the start).

Thanks for the help.

SB
