Hi everyone!
My name is Krishna Kant Gupta. I am a 2nd year Information Science Engineering student at CMRIT College, Bangalore, India. I am new to the world of open source contribution but I am enthusiastic and determined to make some contributions going. I felt like contributing to SymPy would be great because of the interest I have for mathematics right from my 10th standard. - level of familiarity with python (1 year programming experience): I have close to 1 year of experience learning python. I have done some python courses on Coursera and Udemy and as part of college doing fake news detection project in python. - mathematical education level (high school / ... / PhD?): Currently studying mathematics as part of college curriculum along with the B.E.(Information Science and Engineering) course - particular expertise (physics? biology? ...subtopics): I do not have any particular expertise in maths but I love infinite series, geometry and number theory a lot. I like to challenge myself to find alternatives to using conventional ways of solving mathematics - particular algorithmic interests: I am new to this but as far as data structures is concerned I like greedy algorithms. As far as maths is concerned I devised my own method to find the nth root of a number. - level of familiarity with symbolic math systems "computer algebra": I am new to this but whatever introductory I know about this it interests me - your familiarity with SymPy : I came to know about it from GSOC page and following the SymPy website, Github page and Linkedin page. - other possibly relevant information -- geographical location? native language?: I am from Bengaluru, India. My native language is Hindi. I am fluent in English. Looking forward to utilize my math knowledge to a great extent and contributing to SymPy! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sympy" group.
