hi there
i got a mail with the following subject:
'=E4=E5=E3=F2=E4 =E7=E3=F9=E4 =E1=F4=E5=F8=E5=ED =EC=EE=E8=E9=E9=EC'
the prefix was ?Q?iso_8859_1
when reaching to: mimeinln.pas: function InlineDecode;
after this line:
s := DecodeQuotedPrintable(s);
the value is a readable hebrew subject as it should
but after this line:
s := CharsetConversion(s, ichar, CP); //ichar=iso_8859_1 as stated in the
subject header
the result is gibberish:
äåãòä çãùä áôåøåí ìîèééì
since im the only one who "complain" about this problem
i will assume that outlook/express (which the other users of that forum i got
this mail from, use)
doesnt have this problem
we can say that the problem is of the sender who uses an invalid encoding for
the subject
but still outlook knows what to do in order to show it correctly
how can this issue be solved using synapse as well?
thanks
