I sent patches to Lukas, who said that he will integrated them into the next release (it was about 2-3 releases ago :-) ). I must admit, that I still use the old version, so I don't know, if the patch is used. Synaser works perfectly with these patches on PowerPC, another platform without the libc unit (it's now only on x86 to provide kylix compatibility and removed from the rest of the platforms, where it never completely worked).
