Hello Synapse Users,

firstly I'd like to stress that I really like Synapse and consider it the best
socket code available in Delphi.

One issue is currently driving me mad. I've written an application which
transfers files and it just says "Network subsystem unusable" after some
hundrer files. When i look into netstat -a (the systems are Windows XP SP2,
both), I can see many sockets in WAITING-state there on the client only. I'm
wondering why they do not disappear after some seconds/minutes.

Here is a part of the code I use:
  FSocket:=TTCPBlockSocket.Create;
  FSocket.RaiseExcept:=true;
  FSocket.SetLinger(true, 0);
  FSocket.Connect(FHost, IntToStr(FPort));
  FSocket.SSLDoConnect;
  //...
  FreeAndNil(FSocket);
I thought, setting Linger would help, but it doesn't..? (I've also tried
setting it to 10 or 1000, as seen in some examples)

I also tested using the newest release, which also does not help.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Michael
