For testing purposes, locally is installed ProFTPD 1.3.0 on Linux with localhost DSN (127.0.0.1) and anonymous approach.
Executing off-line "telnet localhost 21", DSN is resolved imediatelly and login succesfully. unfortunately, not through simple Lazarus application (simple FTP Demo from my site). Resolving attempt around 30 second and fail to resolve it as 127.0.0.1 (started 'localhost' is returning) - login fails. Trying the same online (connected on internet), resolving 'localhost' emidiatelly return correct 127.0.0.1 and login locally properly. Directly using IP 127.0.0.1 as hostname, login is succesfull and immediately in both cases. Problem seems to be in FPC resolving DSN code, which is used by Synapse. Anyone have had the same problem?
