Ok.. seems like the dependency is not required anymore as it is a
compile time dependency for Log4J
However, we do not state this dependency anywhere in our POMs.. M2 picks
this up looking at the (invalid) commons logging POM and includes it
into our build as M2 thinks its a runtime dependency for commons
logging. I will see how we could get rid of this..
