Hi Nabil, hi community yes, there haven been many commits in the past. I finally found again some time to work on the syncekonnector and in addition on some parts of SynCE-KDE.
The work in SynCE-KDE is limited to fixing memory leaks and to update the synchronisation-architecture to fit the needs of the syncekonnector. The syncekonnector now is a plutin for raki (it was the main intention over the time to make it work that way). It uses the synchronization framework from kde (kitchensync) and some parts of the multisynk-application. So this konnector fits into the kde-architecture and also into the SynCE-KDE architecture. Unfortunately, at that time being, it _only_ works with raki but not with multisynk. But it is planned to support multisynk in the future again. For that some wrapper-classes needs to be implemented. Thats more or less all i have done in the last month. I have released SynCE-KDE-0.9 and syncekonnector-0.3 a view days ago, but didn't find some time to write a brief release note. This should be done be my soon. Concerning the PimHandler problme: Actually, i didn't have any idea how we could fix this in a appropriate manner. I suppose, the original ID must be somehow contained in the "BLOB-Id" as there must be a possibility to retrieve the original appointment from recurring appointments. But i didn't have any idea how this "hashing" could work. As long as we didn't discover this "hashing" and the corresponding inverse operation I couldn't do anything appropriate. Do you or someone else have any ideas how to fix this? I hope this is brief enough - if not, please ask. best regardsi have clarified a little bit about my actural work. voc On Monday 13 February 2006 17:56, Nabil Sayegh wrote: > Hi voc, > > we've seen many commits lately.
