maybe this could be of your interest:

It uses the fuse module+library and libsynce/rapi2: some feature are
missing, but seems
to work well (i didn't got a lot of feedback, though) and you should be
able to do random
access I/O on it.

API you have to
patch the synce-librapi 0.9.1
(http://www.infis.univ.ts.it/~riccardo/librapi.patch) or FUR
will not compiled.
