--- Comment #2 from pohly <[email protected]> 2010-12-13 07:17:37 PST --- Created an attachment (id=3888) --> (http://bugs.meego.com/attachment.cgi?id=3888) force the type of a photo to be JPEG I cannot reproduce this with a N97 mini. I can update a field like "email" in a contact which has a photo and it'll be updated fine on the phone. I can also replace the photo. You've mentioned PHOTO;TYPE="X-EVOLUTION-UNKNOWN";ENCODING=b". This is not how it is sent to the phone, for that look under "generated:" in a log file with loglevel=4. However, the TYPE will be indeed missing in the outgoing vCard. If the X6, in contrast to the N97, depends on that, then perhaps setting TYPE=JPEG would help. Can you try that for me? - create the $HOME/.config/syncevolution-xml/datatypes/ - save the attached 02vcard-types.xml into it, using exactly that file name Then try sending a modified contact with photo again, using loglevel=4. The PHOTO under "generated:" should have TYPE=JPEG, just like the one received from the phone. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.meego.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching someone on the CC list of the bug. _______________________________________________ Syncevolution-issues mailing list [email protected] http://lists.syncevolution.org/listinfo/syncevolution-issues
